George Noory has not asked a single worthwhile question, he’s just running through the same usual questions that he uses with every guest. I’m listening right now and this has got to be one of the most boring shows ever. This really pisses me off because it sucks so much. She won’t even answer a question because the audience will have to wait til next year when she comes out with her theoretical model, she then ended that statement with once of the most hideous cackles I’ve ever heard on radio.

First hour was with Jim Berkland, who is a good guest on earthquakes, but George never asks him a worthwhile question and always runs over the same material with him year after year. The man is a font of info on geology and George just squanders time with dumb questions every time.

Contrast this with last nights show which had George Knapp interviewing Danial Sheehan. Lots of really great stuff that I had never heard before. Including UFOs, Silkwood and the Pentagon papers. Just a great show. That’s how C2C should be every night.

Back to tonight’s guest. George just asked the question he asks every guest. “Which experience affects you the most?” Man that question never gets decent answers. He’s such a lazy interviewer and of course will not follow up on a threads from a previous question because he doesn’t know how.

Fire George Noory!!!

Sick, sick, sick of it!

I work in the overnight hours and need something decent to listen to. Coast to Coast gets some great guests, like the one tonight… Dr. Bernard Haisch. Brilliant guy, lots of interesting ideas and yet a total squandering of his time on the air because George Noory rambles out loud on the same questions that barely scratch the surface of the topic. Not a single follow-up question to probe deeper on any train of thought. Then essentially the same questions asked several times since he never keeps track of what he has already asked the guest.

What pissed me off more than anything else tonight, is that he opened up the phone lines an hour early and got rid of a fascinating guest an hour early. WTF????

Why? What the hell for?

George Noory didn’t have a single thoughtful question and was running out of things to say after the first half hour so he opens phone lines in the second hour for callers to ask questions.

Then the last hour he gets rid of this guest who was fascinating then goes to open lines. Wanna know why? Because every call is so shallow and so short a freaking chimp could do it. That way he has no pressure. Nothing interesting being said or heard and they seem to get a disproportionate number of ass-kissing calls. The callers who kiss his ass get extra-time as well as the drunk chick who did nothing but giggle for 10 minutes while George Noory tried to flirt with her. That seriously pissed me off. But guess what…? He does it all the time.

I’m sorry, but George Noory does not have the chops to host this show. If he can’t do a little prep work in just learning a little about the topic or the guest for the evening he doesn’t deserve to host the show. There are millions of us that listen to this show because there ain’t shit else on at this hour. Art Bell built the show and did a great job usually 7 days a week for years. We, the audience deserve much better than George Noory.

Hopefully I’ll have the chance to expound on some of the problems with the show in future posts.
